Isabelle Tracy
My creative practice embraces curation and creative activism, storytelling, and fine art/visual art-making using a wide range of materials, including photography, audio and video, underpinned by expertise as an art historian; all with the aim of bringing more awe, wonder, fun and creativity to more people’s lives. Starting A Woman’s Work with Emma Dolan was both a turn from my more recent work, commissioning and curating everything from graffiti-ed buses to copper spiders to end-of-the-pier dance battles, and a re-Turn to the Women in Revolt activist collaborations of my time in1980s Leeds. I also make pomegranates.
